How the process works?
The first stage of the process will be receiving a call from Abacus, which allows us to identify if you are one of these unfortunate investors. If the answer is yes then you will be booked in for a telephone based appointment with our finance specialist .The appointment will be booked for a time that is convenient for yourself. You will be informed of the name the finance specialist who will call you.

 What is a telephone-based appointment?
This will take place in the comfort of your own home and usually lasts about 45 minutes to an hour. The finance specialist will introduce himself and take all the details of your investment and how you feel you were mislead. We advise that you have all the information that is relevant to your investment to hand. This information will then be documented. At the end the appointment we will advise that the following documents will be sent:

  • A form of authority will be sent which allows us to deal with the claim on your behalf.
  • Terms and conditions.

What we require from you is a copy of your ID and any paperwork relating to the sale investment.
Finally our financial specialist will book a second appointment for you at a time that is suitable for you.

What will happen at the Second appointment?
This will be the final appointment and it will last for 30 minutes. In this appointment we will summarise everything discussed in our first appointment. We will confirm the receipt of your documentation and instruct what will happen with your claim and how we aim to take this forward.

What will be the cost?
Our aim will be to claim back the money you have lost through your investment and also fight for any compensation you will be eligible for. We have many years of experience in financial services and claims so we can provide a professional service to you. We will use various different methods to process your claim, we may use the investment companies complaints departments in some cases we may use the Financial Ombudsman Service and the Financial Services Compensation Scheme. If we feel that we need to take legal proceedings we will do so.
There will be a initial administration cost of £30 the remainder will be on a no win no fee basis. If we are successful with your claim you will be invoiced for 25% of the total compensation we win on your behalf .All compensation payments will be directly awarded to you,
