Mr John Smith from Derby claimed back £1,243.98 in total from his miss-sold PPI with The Bank of Scotland. He also claimed back a total of £871.67 from NatWest bank.

Mr Shafiq Mahmood and Mrs Habiba Mahmood from Birmingham claimed back a total of £2,515.55 from Halifax. As Halifax decided to make a ex-gratia offer that would ensure Mr and Mrs Mahmood were put back into the same position that they would have been in if they hadn’t been miss-sold the PPI.

Mrs Rubina Iqbal from Surrey was miss-sold PPI with Barclays, after their investigation they decided to give Mrs Iqbal a Full refund of £745.06. This included the original premiums and interest incurred on the premium loan. She also got a full refund of the PPI premium and interest incurred on premium loan of £829.50 from Barclays Loan.

Miss Rihanna Sabir from Birmingham claimed a total of £79.77 for all the premiums and associated interest charges to her account with MBNA.

Mr Riaz Khan from Leeds claimed a total rebate is £530.64 as a final settlement of his complaint with Advantage Finance.

Mr Muhit Ajmal from Huddersfield claimed back a total of £1664.20 from HSBC; this included all the premiums paid to date including interest.

Mr and Mrs Patel received a total of £874.23 from American Express; payment was made equal to Repayment Protection premiums. They also claimed back £372.25 from their miss-sold PPI on their Asda Card.

Mr Kasim Habib and Mr Harris Ullah from Huddersfield claimed back a total of £875.54 from Halifax after being miss-sold their PPI.

Mr Alan McPherson from Peterborough claimed back a total of £123.52 after being miss-sold his PPI with his Halifax loan. He also claimed back a sum of £780.47 from Halifax. A refund of £842.93 was claimed back for Mr McPherson from MBNA.

Mr Dennis Milne from Leicester claimed back a total of £316.16 from Lloyds TSB. He also received a total of £1100.76 having been miss-sold PPI on his loan with Lloyds TSB and a total refund of £786.70 from Lloyds.

Mr Sean Burton from Hull was miss-sold his PPI with Northern Rock, as they were not satisfied that their sale made their standards they refunded a total of £1790.42.

Mr Alan Preston and Teresa Preston from Coalville claimed back a total of £2984.39 from Lloyds TSB. They also got a total refund of £5244.92 from Halifax after being miss-sold their PPI with them and a sum of £217.09 from Lloyds TSB.

Mrs Shelby Wallace from Birmingham claimed a total of £2655.03 after being miss-sold PPI with The Royal Bank of Scotland.

They also received a total of £137.04 from Santander for being miss-sold their PPI. Halifax also paid a total of £868.24 as a refund for miss-selling PPI to Mr and Mrs Shahbaz.

Mr Mohammed Lunat from Stoke on Trent claimed £9152.57 after being miss-sold PPI with Barclays.

Mr Haroon Doran from Surrey received a total of £1364.43 from Lloyds TSB after being miss-sold their PPI.

They also got a claim for the total of £158.95 from Santander for the miss selling of their PPI. Another claim with Santander got them £989.33.

Mr Abdul Zakir Haan from London claimed a total of £503.36 after being miss-sold their PPI by The Royal Bank of Scotland.

Mr Shafiq Wali from Sheffield claimed a total of £2233.00, this included the PPI premiums and the interest incurred in relation to the Premium Loan from Barclays.

Mr and Mrs Dean from Oldbury claimed a total of £5355.24 this includes the interest, which was the rate of 8% per annum after being miss-sold their PPI with Northern Rock. They also claimed a total of £3119.31 from The Bank of Scotland after the miss selling of their PPI. Another case where Mr and Mrs Dean were miss-sold their PPI was with Lloyds TSB and they claimed a total of £7827.62 from them.

Mrs Shana Lunat from Isleworth claimed a total of £1526.10 from MBNA for her miss-sold mortgage.

Mrs Jasmine Begum from Huddersfield was miss-sold her mortgage with Halifax they gave her the total refund of £3112.06.

Mr Rizwan Mahmood from London was miss-sold his mortgage by The Bank of Scotland on his Sainsbury’s Loan he received a refund of all the premiums he paid towards the PPI plus the interest charged which came to a total of £5260.80.

Mrs Farhana Ali from Ilford was miss-sold her PPI on her loan with The Royal Bank of Scotland she claimed a total of £2450.40.

Mr Farhan Mahmood from Slough was miss-sold his PPI with Lloyds TSB he received a refund of £397.00.

Mr Mubasher Ali from Leicester was miss-sold his PPI with Barclays, he got a refund of the original premium to his loan, plus the interest paid. This reduced his debt as he got a total of £3956.82.

Mrs Annabeth Dawkins from London claimed £1065.00 from HFC loan; she also received a refund of £112.14 from Lloyds TSB. Mrs Dawkins was miss-sold her PPI on her Lloyds TSB loan and received a total of £2382.00. She also got a refund of £5258.19 from being miss-sold another PPI with Lloyds TSB. She had another two PPIs that were miss-sold to her by Lloyds TSB so claimed a total of £595.24.

Mr Khalifa Nadeem from Nottingham claimed a total of £3764.77 after being miss-sold his PPI with Lloyds TSB.

Mr Rafiq Ali and Mrs Sabah Rafiq from Manchester claimed a total of £609.41 after being miss-sold their PPI from MBNA. This included the amount of PPI premiums charged since the sale date, the amount of interest associated with the PPI premiums and the amount of 8% interest.

Mr Muneer Chaudhri from Leicester claimed a total of £3116.11, this included the premiums and the associated interest charged to his account.

Mr Mandeep Singh Dokya from Leicester was miss-sold his PPI with Halifax, he claimed a total of £2470.70.

Mr Mohamed Jamal from Huddersfield claimed a total of £2693.27 from Lloyds TSB after they miss-sold him his PPI.

Mr Mohsin Jameel from Rochdale claimed a total of £1641.18 from Halifax.

Mrs Rosheen Imtiaz from Herts claimed a total of £2929.50 due to the miss selling of her PPI with The Royal Bank of Scotland.

Mis-sold a mortgage??

Over the past five years there have been millions of complaints logged about the mis-selling of endowment mortgages in the UK. An endowment mortgage is a mixture of an interest only mortgage and an investment policy. Normally the borrower will pay back the interest on the mortgage throughout the 20/25year term and pay monthly into the endowment policy, which is suppose to pay the mortgage off by the end of the term.
